ARKA to Join Satcoms Innovation Group

The Satcoms Innovation Group (SIG) today announced that ARKA Group, L.P. has joined the group as a full member. ARKA is a foundational mission partner providing innovative capabilities that enable the next generation of space operations.

SIG is a membership organisation aiming to promote innovation in the satellite communication industry to improve operational efficiency. It provides all parts of the satcom industry a platform to share knowledge, exchange ideas, discuss challenges and opportunities, and explore technical aspects of industry efficiencies.

ARKA specialises in space systems, advanced communications, defence systems, modern software mission applications, and optical network instrumentation. With a 60-year legacy in space and technology development, ARKA brings a history of partnership and collaboration to the SIG.

Marc Verity, Senior Vice President and General Manager of ARKA’s Advanced Communications and Mission Applications business, commented: “ARKA is committed to innovation, mission performance and advanced engineering, so we’re very much looking forward to working collaboratively with the Satcom Innovation Group to discuss technical aspects of the satcom industry and explore innovation in the current landscape.”
