Globalstar Expands Canadian Ground Station Infrastructure

Globalstar, Inc. (NASDAQ: GSAT), a next-generation telecommunications infrastructure and technology provider, today announces that construction has commenced at Globalstar’s two Canadian ground stations, High River in Alberta and Smiths Falls in Ontario. The expansion adds three additional tracking antennas at each facility, continuing Globalstar's global infrastructure expansion.

These two Globalstar-owned facilities have been in continuous operation for over twenty years, providing mobile satellite services across the North American region. Globalstar currently operates four tracking antennas at each of its Canadian ground stations and has commenced construction to add three additional antennas to each location, along with associated infrastructure.

The Canadian expansion represents the latest milestone in Globalstar's worldwide effort to deploy over 90 additional tracking antennas supporting its third-generation C-3 mobile satellite system. This global infrastructure investment is designed to deliver next-generation mobile satellite solutions to billions of people and IoT devices.

The Canadian ground station enhancements will support both Globalstar's existing satellite constellation and provide the critical infrastructure necessary for the advanced capabilities of the third-generation C-3 system. Combined with the ongoing expansion in Asia and planned infrastructure investments across multiple continents, these facilities position Globalstar to deliver unprecedented global mobile satellite coverage and capacity.
