Sidus Space Signs Memorandum of Understanding with 3GM Plus to Support Development of Slovenian Small Satellite Capability

Sidus Space, Inc. (NASDAQ: SIDU), (the "Company" or "Sidus"), an innovative space and defense technology company, announced the signing of a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding ("MOU") with 3GM Plus, a Slovenian company headquartered in Ljubljana, to collaborate on satellite manufacturing, technology licensing, and the establishment of a domestic small satellite capability in Slovenia. The MOU was signed in Paris during World Space Business Week.
Under the MOU, 3GM Plus will serve as prime contractor for Slovenian satellite programs, with Sidus supporting as subcontractor providing satellite bus technology and licensing, engineering development and knowledge transfer, and flight-proven hardware including the Company's Fortis VPX Maxima digital mission computing platform. 3GM Plus selected Sidus based on the Company's demonstrated space heritage, including the design, manufacture, and on-orbit operation of its LizzieSat satellites.
“Europe is investing in sovereign space and defense capability at a pace we haven't seen before, and Slovenia has decided to build that capability rather than buy it,” said Carol Craig, Founder, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Sidus Space. “That plays directly to how Sidus is structured. We can license technology, supply Fortis VPX Maxima and key subassemblies, and support Slovenia's own build instead of only delivering a finished spacecraft. Our objective here is to be a long-term partner in a national program, not a one-time supplier.”
The parties anticipate a phased approach in which Sidus supports initial satellite development at its Cape Canaveral, Florida facility, with Slovenian engineering personnel participating directly in the build, followed by the establishment of assembly, integration and test capability in Slovenia. 3GM Plus would lead the development of that facility, applying its experience in the design and construction of cleanroom and controlled-environment systems to satellite manufacturing requirements.
The MOU further details structured knowledge transfer to Slovenian personnel, including hands-on engineering participation, onsite support during integration, and training for defense and civil mission operations.
