ViaSat-3 F2 Enters Service, Expanding Capacity and Enabling Growth Across the Americas

Viasat, Inc. (NASDAQ: VSAT), a global leader in satellite communications technology, announced that its ViaSat-3 (VS3) F2 satellite has entered service across the Americas, significantly expanding the company's network capacity, flexibility and resilience across the region. The satellite strengthens Viasat's ability to deliver advanced connectivity services while creating new opportunities for growth in key markets and enhancing network economics.

ViaSat-3 F2 is designed to provide more than one terabit per second of throughput capacity over the Americas, significantly increasing the company’s ability to meet growing demand for reliable connectivity in the air, at sea and on the ground. The satellite's advanced beamforming technology dynamically allocates capacity to high-demand flight routes, shipping lanes and geographic regions, helping maximize network performance where demand and opportunity are greatest and improve customer experience where it matters most.

With ViaSat-3 F1 already in service and F3 entering service across Asia-Pacific in August, completion of the ViaSat-3 constellation has tripled the bandwidth available across Viasat's global fleet, providing the scale, flexibility and reach needed to better support the company’s aviation, maritime, government, and broadband customers and establishing a powerful foundation for continued growth.
