WEST 2026: Orbit to Showcase OceanTRx 4 MIL-GRADE Product Delivering VeryResilient SATCOM under GPS-Denied Environment During Maritime Operations
Orbit Communication Systems will present its OceanTRx 4 MIL-GRADE SATCOM system at WEST 2026, highlighting very resilient, uninterrupted maritime communications designed to operate in contested and GPS-denied environments.
OceanTRx 4 MIL is a field-proven, military-grade SATCOM platform engineered to ensure communications continuity when satellite navigation signals are disrupted, degraded, or denied. Designed for demanding maritime operations, the system supports 1.15-meter antenna configurations across Ku, X, and Ka bands, including simultaneous multi-band operation, enabling assured connectivity under deliberate electronic interference.
As maritime missions increasingly take place in highly contested electromagnetic environments, communications must remain operational from the first moment of contact. OceanTRx 4 MIL is built for these conditions, delivering secure command and control, real-time situational awareness, and uninterrupted data transfer when reliance on GPS is no longer possible.
The system’s GPS-free tracking and advanced anti-jamming capabilities allow platforms to maintain communication while maneuvering under emission control or electronic attack conditions. With multi-band, multi-orbit, multi-network interoperability and dynamic SATCOM switching across multiple antennas and modems, OceanTRx 4 MIL provides operational flexibility without compromising resilience.
Designed with long-term operational readiness in mind, OceanTRx 4 MIL is a ruggedized, MIL-STD- compliant solution that supports incremental upgrades and future technology insertion, without disrupting ongoing missions.
“Modern maritime operations can no longer assume access to GPS or permissive RF conditions,” said Danny Eshchar, CEO of Orbit Communication Systems. “Orbit’s SATCOM systems are designed to deliver assured communications across a wide range of naval platforms, from large surface combatants to small vessels and unmanned systems. Today, our maritime SATCOM solutions are fielded and actively deployed by over 30 navies worldwide, reflecting proven performance, operational trust, and long-term reliability, enabling continuous connectivity, maneuverability, and mission execution even in GPS-denied and highly contested environments.”
